I believe that it's different in this stage because the basic building blocks have already been set in place. Where these building blocks are there, they know what is said to be "good" and should theoretically stay away from what would be considered "bad" on their own without guidance. The only things they were introduced to, or at least where suppose to have been, was all the good, so good is all they know, that's all there is. When the say all music is good for you, the guardians-in-training only know of the good so they assume all the music that is allowed is good.
