Schopenhauer believes that art is so special because it's individualized and unique. Art is a way of expressing feelings and ideas without actually using words. You can't be told what is right and wrong in art. Whatever you do is the way you interpret it. According to Schopenhauer, art allows you to feel another's feelings and meld with the art. Art is your own impression of the world.
