I wonder if Schopenhauer would consider a-tonal or quarter tonal music, music. He calls upon the fundamental roots of the 1st 3rd and 5th, which pertains to most classical music, as it's the basis of the display of emotions and what have you. Since his time however, things have drastically changed, and I'm curious of his interpretation of the emotional concurrences.
