Schopenhauer to me thinks that art is special because its so individualistic, there's not just one type. Everyone can do what they want and call it art, music, or what have you. Music is definitely a form of art because its an expression of the soul. Music and Art can describe almost everything about a person, it can help people show themselves where they aren't afraid to show what they really are.
