Art is the condition and the reflection of the will. Music is the highest of arts because of the pleasure it gives aesthetics in the qualities of our character. So, art describes our will and condition we create because of the freedoms that we have. It is the most important, and this goes back to Pluto, because we are able to give "Plutonic" ideas, which gives us relief from the pressures of our will and representation. This is what makes art so special, Schopenhauer believes.
