Schopenhauer believes that art is special because it can encompass both the Idea and the concept. Because of this, the viewer can experience the piece of art completely free from the ever-present will and take whatever we want from it. There is no right or wrong interpretation when it comes to art and that makes it a truly unique experience. It also gives us the ability to see the world through another person's perspective, which is impossible to do in any other circumstance.
