Response to Nate Sylvester

What about the point Levitin makes about music recalling memory or emotion in general? The piece by Cage definitely evokes emotion from people, but most can't just pinpoint why it bothers them so much. He doesn't just view it from a technical standpoint. Though I would have to agree that he does not view it as music. I don't think he would completely agree with Davies about the piece.
