10-17-11

I had an extremely hard time deciphering what Nietzsche was trying to convey. I did, however, pick up on his distinction of Apollinian and the Dionysian art to be that of form. Apollinian is visual art with a physical form, such as a sculpture or a painting, whereas, Dionysian is audible art such as music. This is a common distinction in the philosophy of music that we have read previously.
