Response to 11/16

Higgins thinks that music contributes to the social ideologies of people because of the symbolism and ideas that are intertwined with the lyrics and the composition(s). I agree to this because I have feel that music is symbolic and it gives ideas to make people think certain ways. It doesn't portray something more than it really is, but merely gives us something else to think about.
