I do believe that the Zeitgeist reflects music and today. Music for the most part reflects the ever changing cultural ideals. At this moment in time we are able to speak more freely about feelings through music. It also reflects the need for mass production. Music is now being released at greater speeds. In the past artists would take years to release and album and the singles from the album, but now more and more artists are feelings to need to produce music at faster rates. I think it also reflects the quality of popular music as opposed to the past, because in today's society we get so bored with things so quickly, so we always need something new.
