Nietzsche started to hate Wagner due to a lot of reason's one of the first reasons I noticed was that Wagner was German and wanted to make his own German opera. Also there was the opera itself that Nietzsche didn't like he stated that the music sicken him and it was to depressing. He also mentioned that the music ran all the way through and didn't take any breaks this was also sickening to Nietzsche. There also seemed to be unresolved issues between Nietzsche. I noticed there was a type of underlying jealously  Nietzsche may have had for Wagner.
